Hey there. Glad you could join us. I've been waiting on your arrival.
I'm sooo glad that you stopped by to see what the iConnectors Blog is all about. If you're here, that means someone shared the news with you or you saw my social media posts yourself. Either way, I'd like to take the time out to re-introduce it, when to expect it and how to be a guest blogger if you choose. I'd love to have you.
First off, my name is Oneka and the owner of Right-Hand Mrs., also known as "The Glam Administrator". You may have heard of the "The Salon Administrator" and that would be me as well. Right-Hand Mrs. is an Administrative Consulting Firm for professionals in the Hair, Beauty and Fashion Industry. There was a time when I solely worked with Hair Stylists but once I branched off into Beauty and Fashion, "The Salon Administrator" no longer encompassed all of that. Hence, the new title. Ok, ok. I know that's not why you're here so enough of that.
iConnectors was birthed out of the need to connect artists in a different way and from a different perspective. By this I mean, I came from an extensive medical background. I don't know how to do my own hair, let alone anyone else's and the same with make-up. However, I could put an outfit together and be dressed to death for church on Sundays. (Not just on Easter either, lol) It's funny how I was introduced to this industry too. That's a long story but if you stick around, I'll be sure to share that info with you in the near future. I've decided that I want to be as transparent as possible with you. What I will say is that I learned quick, fast and in a hurry that this industry was a BEAST. It will chew you up and spit you out. It will love you and then hate you all at the same time. However, for some reason, I love it. It was new, invigorating and could be glamorous all at the same time. After all, I am a girly girl that doesn't know how to do hair nor give myself a beat, but that's quite alright.
Connecting with you from a practical administrative viewpoint, as well as a non-bias point of view, is my goal. I have no loyalty to either industry because I'm personally not an artist at all. I simply just meshed my administrative skill with an industry that truly needed to put more professionalism and structure into their businesses. In case you didn't know or even forgot, Hair Stylists, Make-Up Artists and Fashion Stylists are BUSINESS OWNERS. Soo, let's step it up a notch.
You can expect the bi-weekly iConnectors Blog every other Monday, starting TODAY. You can also expect for me to keep it real, be transparent, give some great administrative tips, answer questions that you may have via our qotd segments (email firstname.lastname@example.org) and give you a good quality read. I'm giving you all of me in case you haven't yet figured that out. I love to have fun and get down to business all at the same time.
Join me in 2 weeks when we discuss the Do's and Dont's from the Client and Stylists perspective. This is gonna be fun yet eye opening, TRUST. DON'T MISS IT.
If you're looking forward to more blog posts, comment below and share it on Twitter and Facebook. Oh, and for God sake, please don't forget to subscribe to this blog. Until next time;)

Lord, I pray that my words and info will touch all those in need to hear what I have to say and share. I pray that all info shared will make changes in lives as well as businesses. Those that are supposed to be here, will hear about it and be changed as a result. Now do it Lord.
